当唐老鸭决定加入海军时，他决定将崇拜他的3个侄子辉儿，路儿，杜儿（Hewy,Louie,Dewey ）交给他的大叔史高治（原著中为舅爷、舅舅与外甥的关系，大陆翻译由于历史遗留习惯而保留了叔侄的翻译）。史高治不喜欢孩子们关于房子四周的建议，但是在他们制止了庀兄弟（the Beagle Boys）打劫他的糖果厂，而且发现了通向珍贵宝藏的钥匙。史高治变得非常喜欢他们。很快史高志和辉儿，路儿，杜儿还有保姆巴利太太，她的侄女温比（Webby），最后还有史高治的愚蠢的飞行员阿彪（Launchpad）一起为了寻找世界上的宝藏开始了无数的精彩冒险。随着他们在鸭堡（Duckburg）的冒险一跃成为销量第一的迪士尼的卡通。
